01

The challenge

The Wandering Book Nook wanted a logo with real storybook charm. Something that feels like opening up your favorite book.

It also had to work at small sizes, like stickers and social profile pictures, without losing what makes it special.

02

The approach

The main badge pairs a detailed elephant with a satchel of books, soft dahlia flowers and a few little celestial touches.

For smaller spaces, I made a simpler WBN mark that keeps the same feel in full color, one color and reversed.

The result

The system is simple. The elephant badge goes where there's room for detail, like the side of the shop's book trailer, and the WBN mark handles the small stuff, like business cards and totes.

Dusty coral, sage and warm ivory lead the colors, with a little old gold for shine. Everything is set in Georgia, so it reads like a well loved storybook wherever the trailer parks.
